Javier Rodriguez is a native Houstonian. He graduated in 2007 from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a dual degree in Aeronautical Science and Aeronautical Engineering. After graduation he began flying in Puerto Rico company executives around the Caribbean before coming back to the Houston Area, working as a Ramp Operator at Houston Executive Airport while learning the art of Corporate Aviation from his mentors. He then began his fulltime career as a Corporate Pilot in 2009 flying a King Air 350 to locations around the United States. In 2012, He and his wife, Hillary began Lion Aviation, LLC. Together they have built a company that prides itself on Customer Service and Safety while maintaining a synergistic, high-quality team of pilots to work with.
Hillary Rodriguez serves as the backbone for Lion Aviation. She may not be the one flying the aircraft, but she is the one handling paperwork, customer requests, and resources behind the scenes. Along with working with Javier, she is the mother to their three children, highly active in her community serving full time on various boards both at the local and state level, as well as managing an analytical lab for a nationwide agriculture company.
